„Abrahadabra” este o reflectare a sentimentelor mele personale exacerbate. Este prima mea încercare de a reda ideea de „rock pictural” – compoziţie fonică ce descrie o secvenţă de imagini mintale. De fapt, toate aceste compuneri instrumentale ascund în spatele lor o poveste din viaţa reală. Există câteva aluzii la aceste poveşti în broşura CD-ului. De exemplu: „Route” (Drumul) este povestea unei ceremonii funerare şi expune sonor modul în care o persoană decedată este jelită în cultura răsăriteană; „Told to a Bird” (Confesiune către o pasăre) este povestea confesiunii mele către un stol de păsări, sub forma unui ritual. În câteva cuvinte, în timp ce am compus acest album, m-am simţit foarte îndrăgostit, visător şi revoltat.
